We will give you a same day quotation, usually in the currency of your country and with no hidden extras.


In order to provide you with an accurate quotation for your translation or interpreting requirement we need to know some details about your project. It is very helpful if you can let us know answers to the following:

Translation

1) How long is the translation? It is very useful if we can see the document or, in the case of large projects, some representative pages.

2) When is the latest date for you to receive the translation? We do not miss agreed deadlines and request only that you let us know the actual latest date for the translation to be received.

3) What is the purpose of the translation - is it for information purposes or publication purposes? If the latter, what software do you require the translation to be processed in? Does the English translation need to follow the Japanese layout or not?

4) Is the translation going to be proofed further in Japan?

Interpreting

1) What kind of interpreting do you require, simultaneous or consecutive?

2) If simultaneous, do you also require equipment? How many people will be participating in the conference? What is the conference about?

3) If consecutive, please let us know the nature and importance of the assignment. Does it, for example, involve a major corporate presentation, a meeting with government ministers, medium-level business negotiations, contract talks, one-to-one discussions, etc.?

4) Where is the assignment taking place and what is the duration of the assignment? Will the hours be 9-5 or will overtime and/or overnight stays be required.

5) If the assignment is outside Tokushima or outside Japan, will the interpreter need to travel the previous day?

We usually quote you a price in the currency of your country. With translations, we will provide a price based on the standard method of quotation in your country, whether it is a price per line, a price per page, or a price per word. This price will not normally be subject to currency fluctuations. Thus, if the yen rises, it is our problem, not yours!
